Product introduction
904L is a high alloying austenitic stainless steel with very low carbon content. 904L alloy, like other commonly used CrNi austenitic steels, has good resistance to point corrosion and crevice corrosion, high resistance to stress corrosion cracking, good resistance to intergranular corrosion, good machinability and weldability. The alloy is used in the manufacture of petroleum and petrochemical equipment, such as petrochemical equipment reactor, sulfuric acid storage and transportation equipment, power plant flue gas desulfurization unit, organic acid treatment system scrubbers and fans, etc.
